What is RFID?
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. An RFID system consists of a tiny radio transponder, a radio receiver, and a transmitter. When triggered by an electromagnetic interrogation pulse from a nearby RFID reader, the tag transmits digital data, usually an identifying inventory number, back to the reader.
Key Benefits of RFID Solutions:
- Enhanced Inventory Accuracy: Gain real-time visibility into your stock levels, reducing discrepancies and improving inventory turns.
- Improved Asset Tracking: Precisely locate and manage valuable assets within your facility or across multiple locations.
- Streamlined Operations: Automate data collection processes, minimizing manual input errors and freeing up staff for more critical tasks.
- Greater Efficiency: Accelerate processes like receiving, picking, packing, and shipping with automated identification.
- Better Security: Implement robust access control systems and track movement of goods to prevent loss and theft.
